Hunter Valley Gardens is seeking a creative and strategic Senior Destination Tourism Marketing Manager based in Pokolbin. You will direct major consumer marketing campaigns for signature events including the Christmas Lights Spectacular and Snow Time in the Garden, collaborating with local vignerons and Destination NSW.
As a key member of the team at Hunter Valley Gardens & Tourism in Hunter Valley, NSW, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities
In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:
- Devise and: Devise and execute multi-channel digital, broadcast, and print marketing campaigns attracting over 350,000 visitors annually.
- Manage paid: Manage paid digital acquisition (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok) and dynamic ticketing funnels.
- Coordinate media: Coordinate media famils, influencer partnerships, and broadcast public relations coverage.
- Partner with: Partner with local cellar doors, luxury lodges, and Destination NSW to position the Hunter Valley as a world-class wine destination.
- Analyze ticket: Analyze ticket sales data and visitor origin analytics to optimize regional tourism marketing spend.
Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience
To be successful in this position at Hunter Valley Gardens & Tourism, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:
- Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Marketing, Public Relations, or Tourism Management.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-5 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Tourism.
- 4+ years experience in destination marketing, major attractions, or regional tourism.
- Proven track record delivering high-ROI digital advertising and event promotion campaigns.
- Deep affection for regional New South Wales wine and culinary culture.

- Competitive Remuneration: AU$105,000 – AU$130,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
- Salary $105,000 – $130,000 + super + performance bonus.
