Accor Australia is seeking an accomplished Luxury Hotel General Manager to take the helm at the newly refurbished Sofitel Sydney Wentworth in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. You will hold complete commercial, operational, and guest experience accountability for this 436-room luxury landmark, inspiring over 250 team members to deliver bespoke French art de vivre hospitality.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities
In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:
- Drive total: Drive total hotel commercial P&L performance, maximizing Average Daily Rate (ADR), occupancy, and RevPAR index.
- Deliver exceptional: Deliver exceptional luxury brand standards and guest satisfaction scores (GSS / TripAdvisor #1 ranking).
- Maintain trusted,: Maintain trusted, collaborative relationships with institutional property owners and asset asset managers.
- Oversee premium: Oversee premium food and beverage operations across rooftop bars, French bistros, and grand ballrooms.
- Champion talent: Champion talent development, employee engagement, and sustainability initiatives (Net Zero carbon hospitality).
Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience
To be successful in this position at Accor Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:
- Mandatory Qualification: Degree in International Hotel Management, Business, or Hospitality Administration.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 10+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
- 10+ years of hotel management experience with at least 4 years as a General Manager in a luxury 5-star international hotel.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving market-leading RevPAR growth and outstanding food & beverage profitability.
- Exceptional executive presence, French luxury service passion, and charismatic interpersonal leadership.
- Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
