Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope

• Safeguard personnel, plant, materials, and infrastructure assets across high-security construction compounds and remote workfaces.
• Conduct regular perimeter patrols, inspect perimeter fencing, security gates, CCTV surveillance, and access control points.
• Manage vehicle access, search procedures, delivery dockets, and visitor inductions in compliance with project security plans.
• Respond swiftly and calmly to security incidents, unauthorized intrusions, perimeter alarms, and emergency situations.
• Complete accurate daily security logbooks, incident reports, and liaise with local emergency services and client security teams.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of security officers on night shifts
• Patrol: Do mobile security patrols to different client sites throughout the night
• SIA Licence: Hold and maintain a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence
• UK Driving Licence: Full, valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Scheduling: Sort out and allocate security personnel to meet client needs and keep service levels high
• Report Management: Use your computer skills to create and maintain incident reports, activity logs, and other paperwork as needed
• Client Relations: Build and maintain good working relationships with the project by staying in touch with the Security Supervisor, dealing with concerns and making sure their security needs are covered
• Emergency Response: Coordinate and respond to security-related emergencies, keeping everyone and everything safe
