Woolworths Digital (WooliesX) is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist in Sydney to partner with engineering directors in scaling digital teams.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

  • Manage end-to-end: Manage end-to-end recruitment for high-demand engineering, cloud, and cybersecurity roles.
  • Source passive: Source passive technical talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and technology communities.
  • Conduct structured: Conduct structured behavioral interviews and technical competence screenings.
  • Partner with: Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and diversity recruitment initiatives.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Woolworths Group, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

  • Mandatory Qualification: Degree in HR, Business, or Psychology.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-5 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
  • 3+ years technical recruitment experience (in-house or agency) specializing in software and cloud engineering.
  • Deep understanding of modern tech stacks (Cloud, DevOps, Data, Mobile).
  • Exceptional candidate engagement, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Competitive Remuneration: AU$115,000 – AU$140,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
