Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- By applying your sharp finance and accounting acumen, you will understand and apply rules, interpretations, and assumptions around reporting requirements, and contribute to ensuring a strong and robust control framework.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of accountancy or finance with a professional accounting qualification like CA or CPA.
- 6-10 years' experience in financial accounting, financial control, audit, legal entity control, or regulatory reporting in a financial institution.
- High attention to detail and the confidence to flag potential issues and strong numerical and abstract reasoning skills.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders across varying levels of seniority.
- Previous experience as a manager coaching or leading junior staff will be an advantage.
- Previous experience as an Auditor or Financial/Legal Entity controller will be an advantage.
- Previous experience relating to SFC regulatory reporting will be an advantage.
