Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope

• Our Financial Management, People and Engagement (FPE) division enables the firm to grow by providing financial management , tax, treasury and business advisory services across the organisation .
• As part of the graduate programme , you may join either our Finance & Tax or Group Treasury teams.
• In Finance & Tax, you'll work with teams responsible for financial, regulatory and tax reporting, business advisory activities and financial management .
• You'll gain broad exposure to the firm's businesses while developing technical expertise and a strong understanding of how a global financial institution operates .
• In Group Treasury, you'll contribute to the management of the firm's funding, capital, balance sheet structure and liquidity position.
• You'll gain exposure to financial analysis, reporting, treasury operations and strategic funding initiatives that help ensure the firm's businesses have the financial resources required to achieve their objectives .
• Across both teams, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects and develop an understanding of financial markets, risk management and the regulatory environment in which the firm operates .

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

• Studying Economics, Finance, Business, Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE), Mathematics or another numerically focused discipline.
• We also welcome candidates from a broad range of degree backgrounds who can demonstrate strong analytical capability, commercial awareness and an interest in financial services.
• Numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and draw meaningful insights.
• A strong academic record and the resilience to perform effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Motivation, drive and evidence of initiative through extracurricular activities, leadership positions, part-time work, volunteering, sporting achievements or other pursuits outside of your studies.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
• Curiosity, sound judgement and a genuine interest in finance, treasury, tax, financial markets and the wider financial services industry.
• Previous internship experience within financial services is beneficial but not essential.
• We welcome candidates with transferable skills and a strong interest in pursuing a career within Finance & Tax or Group Treasury.
