Laing O’Rourke is currently seeking applications for the position of Senior Resourcing Advisor. We will provide program and construction management services of nuclear related civil infrastructure, site‑wide nuclear licensee development expertise, and nuclear safety leadership.
Core Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
In this role at Laing O’Rourke, your key responsibilities and deliverables will include:
- Source and attract high-calibre talentto support the AUKUS program, with a focus on Australian citizens eligible to obtain the required Defence security clearance.
- Build strong partnerships with key project stakeholdersto understand current and future workforce requirements and provide proactive recruitment support.
- Develop and manage internal and external talent pipelines, ensuring quality candidates are available for immediate vacancies while building a strong pipeline to meet future project demands.
- Provide market insights and recruitment adviceto hiring managers, supporting informed workforce planning and hiring decisions.
Selection Criteria & Candidate Profile
Laing O’Rourke evaluates applicants against demonstrated technical capabilities and experience aligned with this role:
- 5+ years’ experiencein talent acquisition or resourcing, managing high-volume recruitment across white-collar roles, ideally within the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
- Defence recruitment experienceor exposure to security-cleared hiring is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience using a range ofrecruitment systems, sourcing tools, and talent platformsto deliver successful hiring outcomes.
- Aproactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of thelocal talent market, supported by an established professional network and the ability to identify and engage high-quality candidates.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.
