Laing O’Rourke is currently seeking applications for the position of Expressions of Interest – Design Coordinators. Core Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
In this role at Laing O’Rourke, your key responsibilities and deliverables will include:
- Ensure designs are in accordance with Safety in Design procedures.
- Establish and manage working relationships with Hub Engineering Management team, Project Engineers, and Design Managers.
- Agree scope, priorities, schedule and deliverables with Line Manager prior to proceeding. Control time and monitor progress.
- Efficient planning and execution of works.
- Provide good quality, valuable, reliable, trustworthy and timely project technical support.
Selection Criteria & Candidate Profile
Laing O’Rourke evaluates applicants against demonstrated technical capabilities and experience aligned with this role:
- A minimum of two years’ design engineering project experience. An understanding of design codes, specifications, providing technical direction, issue resolution, providing quality assurance, producing reports.
- Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical/Geotechnical)
- Experience in Civils, Stations and/or Tunnels essential
