Laing O’Rourke is currently seeking applications for the position of Site Engineer. Core Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
In this role at Laing O’Rourke, your key responsibilities and deliverables will include:
- Managesubcontractor packages, contractor performance and project interfaces.
- Coordinateplanning, scheduling and delivery against project milestones.
- Reviewdesigns, technical requirements and manage RFIs through to closeout.
- Maintainproject records, engineering systems and digital engineering tools.
- Buildstrong stakeholder relationships and support continuous development.
Selection Criteria & Candidate Profile
Laing O’Rourke evaluates applicants against demonstrated technical capabilities and experience aligned with this role:
- A minimum of 2 years’ construction/engineering project experience
- An understanding of design, specifications, managing subcontractors, providing technical direction, issue resolution, providing quality assurance, producing site reports.
- Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or Construction Management or equivalent.
- Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
