Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Comply with and consistently follow safety standards, procedures and systems of work
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance, inspections and checks on surface and underground electrical equipment and instrumentation
• Support the resolution of electrical issues impacting plant performance, reliability and availability
• Review and maintain equipment history records and maintenance schedules
• Apply electrical trade skills to carry out maintenance activities that support operational stability and equipment reliability
• Assist in the development and revision of operating and maintenance procedures
• Communicate equipment and plant status with relevant stakeholders and operational teams
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping across all work areas

Technical Competencies & Core Skills

Required Qualifications & Background

• Australian recognised Electrical Trade qualification
• Current South Australian Electrical Workers Licence (or ability to obtain)
• Current C Class Driver Licence
• Experience maintaining fixed plant electrical equipment and instrumentation within mining, processing, industrial or heavy industry environments
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement
• Experience using SAP, 1SAP or similar maintenance management systems will be highly regarded
• Ability to collaborate effectively with operations and maintenance teams to solve equipment performance issues
