Lead the delivery of multi-hundred-million-dollar motorway widening, tunneling, and civil structures infrastructure packages in Sydney for CPB Contractors.

CPB Contractors is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead a major urban motorway and tunneling construction package in Sydney. You will manage total package safety, program scheduling, commercial procurement, quality assurance, and community stakeholder relations, leading a high-performing site delivery team across civil, earthworks, and structural trades.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead construction: Lead construction execution for major civil road, bridge, and tunneling packages from site possession to handover.
• Drive an: Drive an uncompromising safety culture, enforcing safety golden rules and daily environmental controls.
• Manage package: Manage package commercial performance, budget forecasts, subcontractor variations, and earned value tracking.
• Collaborate with: Collaborate with client delivery authorities (Transport for NSW) and independent certifiers.
• Direct and: Direct and mentor package project engineers, site supervisors, and graduate engineers.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at CPB Contractors, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Construction Management + Chartered Engineer (CPEng) desirable.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 8+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 8+ years of tier-1 civil infrastructure construction experience, with a track record managing packages exceeding $100M.
• Demonstrated mastery in road widening, earthworks, traffic switching, and deep underground structural works.
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Exceptional commercial acumen, contractor negotiation, and leadership communication skills.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$190,000 – AU$230,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Executive package ($190,000 – $230,000) + fully maintained vehicle allowance + annual performance bonus.
