Lead enterprise cloud modernization and data centre migrations to Microsoft Azure for prominent public and private sector clients at DXC Technology.

DXC Technology’s Adelaide Cloud Modernization practice is seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Specialist. You will guide clients through the discovery, assessment, and migration phases of complex on-premises workloads into secure Microsoft Azure environments, utilizing automated landing zones, Azure Migrate, and Infrastructure as Code.

As a key member of the team at DXC Technology Australia in Adelaide, SA, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Conduct workload: Conduct workload discovery, dependency mapping, and migration readiness assessments using Azure Migrate.
• Execute lift-and-shift,: Execute lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and cloud refactoring projects for Windows and Linux workloads.
• Provision automated: Provision automated Azure landing zones adhering to the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
• Configure enterprise: Configure enterprise identity federation, conditional access, and role-based access control with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Deliver comprehensive: Deliver comprehensive technical handover documentation and conduct post-migration stabilization reviews.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at DXC Technology Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 5+ years of infrastructure consulting or systems engineering experience with significant cloud project exposure.
• Deep hands-on experience executing on-premises VMware to Azure cloud migrations.
• Strong scripting proficiency in PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Hold Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate certifications.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$135,000 – AU$165,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Attractive remuneration package ($135,000 – $165,000) + performance-based incentives.
