Interactive is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our Port Melbourne Cloud & Continuity engineering team. You will administer high-performance enterprise virtualization environments (VMware), SAN storage arrays, and mission-critical backup and disaster recovery systems that protect hundreds of commercial clients against catastrophic outages.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Administer and: Administer and support enterprise VMware vSphere and Microsoft Azure hybrid environments.
• Design, test,: Design, test, and execute complex disaster recovery failover simulations using Veeam and Zerto.
• Maintain enterprise: Maintain enterprise SAN storage arrays (Pure Storage, NetApp) including LUN provisioning and replication.
• Perform operating: Perform operating system patch management, performance monitoring, and capacity upgrades across Windows and Linux servers.
• Respond to: Respond to urgent client disaster recovery invocations with rapid operational restoration.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Interactive Pty Ltd, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Tertiary degree in Information Technology or industry certifications (VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSA/AZ-104).
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 4+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 4+ years of commercial systems administration experience within an MSP or enterprise IT environment.
• Strong expertise in VMware vSphere administration and virtual network configuration.
• Solid experience with enterprise backup and replication software (Veeam, Commvault, or Zerto).
• Customer-first attitude with outstanding troubleshooting and verbal communication skills.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$125,000 – AU$150,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Salary $125,000 – $150,000 + on-call allowance + superannuation.
