Hays Specialist Recruitment is seeking an ambitious Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our established Accounting & Finance division in Brisbane.

As a key member of the team at Hays Australia in Brisbane, QLD, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Manage recruitment: Manage recruitment for qualified accountants, financial controllers, and CFOs.
• Build and: Build and nurture client relationships with commercial enterprises across Queensland.
• Source, interview,: Source, interview, and match candidates using market-leading recruitment technologies.
• Negotiate placement: Negotiate placement fees, commercial terms, and candidate remuneration packages.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Hays Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Commerce, HR, or Business Administration.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-5 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Minimum 3 years 360-degree agency recruitment experience, preferably in accounting, finance, or professional services.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and billing targets.
• Strong commercial acumen, networking capabilities, and drive.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$90,000 – AU$120,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Base salary $90,000 – $120,000 + uncapped commission structure + super.
