Role Overview & Strategic Context
As a Senior Product Manager, Self-Reported Insights within our Product Management organization, you will play an instrumental role in designing, building, and operating high-leverage systems that support Atlassian enterprise cloud customers globally. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, architecture, product, and leadership to deliver reliable, scalable, and intuitive enterprise experiences.
Key Responsibilities & Daily Impact
In this position, you will be trusted to take deep ownership of mission-critical outcomes. Key areas of focus include:
- Architect, develop, and maintain resilient, cloud-native services engineered for fault tolerance, security, and exceptional performance at enterprise scale.
- Partner with product management, UX designers, and system architects to translate customer feedback into technical roadmaps and clear deliverables.
- Champion engineering excellence through thorough code reviews, automated integration testing, observability instrumentation, and proactive technical debt management.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment across distributed geographic hubs, ensuring transparent documentation and seamless async handoffs.
- Contribute to Atlassian’s culture of continuous learning by mentoring peers, participating in ShipIt hackathons, and presenting technical insights.

Qualifications, Technical Skills & Experience
We are seeking candidates who demonstrate technical craftsmanship, intellectual curiosity, and a natural instinct for collaborative problem-solving:
- Proven track record in Product Management with relevant experience corresponding to Senior Level roles.
- Deep familiarity with modern software architecture, distributed cloud systems, and agile delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous business or technical problems into structured execution plans and measurable results.
- Exceptional written and asynchronous verbal communication skills, crucial for success in our distributed Team Anywhere environment.
