Mainfreight is seeking an International Freight Forwarding Supervisor in Eagle Farm to manage air and sea freight export operations.

Mainfreight Air & Ocean Brisbane is hiring a Freight Forwarding Operations Supervisor to oversee daily international air and ocean freight operations.

As a key member of the team at Mainfreight Australia in Brisbane, QLD, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Supervise international: Supervise international air and seafreight import/export consolidations and documentation.
• Negotiate freight: Negotiate freight rates with international airlines and global container shipping lines.
• Coordinate customs: Coordinate customs clearance and biosecurity (DAFF) inspections with licensed brokers.
• Operate CargoWise: Operate CargoWise software to track shipments and generate commercial billing.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Mainfreight Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Diploma in International Freight Forwarding or Customs Brokerage.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-5 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 3+ years experience in international freight forwarding (air or ocean).
• Proficiency in CargoWise (ediEnterprise / CW1) platform.
• Sound knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms 2020) and dangerous goods regulations.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$85,000 – AU$105,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Base salary $85,000 – $105,000 + team profit-sharing scheme + super.
