Develop high-scale, mission-critical global logistics software using C# and .NET Core at WiseTech Global, the tech giant behind CargoWise.

WiseTech Global’s Alexandria engineering hub is expanding the CargoWise Core platform team. You will write robust, high-performance C# and SQL code responsible for tracking, routing, and clearing international shipments for the world’s largest logistics freight forwarders and customs brokers.

As a key member of the team at WiseTech Global in Sydney, NSW, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Develop high-throughput: Develop high-throughput transactional services using C#, .NET, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Optimize database: Optimize database schema, indexing strategies, and query plans for terabyte-scale enterprise databases.
• Build resilient: Build resilient EDI and API connectors integrating air, ocean, and road freight carriers worldwide.
• Implement automated: Implement automated unit and integration tests maintaining strict code quality gates.
• Participate in: Participate in rapid deployment sprints and rotational platform support.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at WiseTech Global, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Computer Science or related STEM degree.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-6 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 3+ years of commercial C# / .NET development experience with deep object-oriented principles.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, transactions, and SQL query optimization.
• Experience with multithreaded programming and building high-availability enterprise services.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving discipline and analytical thinking.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$130,000 – AU$155,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive salary ($130,000 – $155,000) + performance-based incentives.
