Opportunity Overview & Quick Facts
Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Spearhead ensuring the quality and reliability of applications supporting the Margining and Collateral platform.
- Working across the software development lifecycle, you will analyse requirements, design test strategies, and execute both automated and manual testing activities to support successful project delivery.
- Focus strategically on building and maintaining automated test solutions while performing functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, API and database testing.
- Collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, vendors and other stakeholders, you will help identify and resolve defects, improve testing processes, and embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Additionally leverage AI-assisted testing approaches and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance test coverage, efficiency and overall software quality.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or an SDET-related role, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Experience with test automation frameworks, preferably Playwright and TypeScript, or equivalent automation tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, API, backend, and database testing, including SQL and relational databases.
- Experience using test and defect management tools such as JIRA, with the ability to analyse requirements, design test cases, and manage defects through resolution.
- Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, AI-assisted testing approaches, and experience within financial services, capital markets, margining or collateral management environments would be an advantage.
