Opportunity Overview & Quick Facts
Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Spearhead building, operating and continuously improving a Kubernetes-based platform that underpins critical engineering workloads.
- Working across AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, GitOps, observability, security and automation, you will help ensure the platform remains reliable, scalable and easy for development teams to consume.
- Oversee and administer and enhance core platform services, support application onboarding, and drive improvements to deployment and operational workflows.
- Partnering closely with engineering teams, you will troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and automate repetitive operational tasks.
- Actively advance and support platform innovation, developer enablement, and the adoption of best practices that improve system resilience and operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating and supporting production Kubernetes environments, preferably Amazon EKS.
- AWS experience, including IAM, networking, load balancing, and cloud infrastructure services.
- Hands-on experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux, along with Helm and Kustomize.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management in distributed systems.
- Scripting and automation skills using Bash and infrastructure-as-code or configuration management approaches.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, or policy-as-code technologies is an advantage.
