Xero is seeking a Senior Product Manager in Melbourne to lead product vision and automated bank reconciliation workflows.

Xero is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Financial Automation division in Melbourne, taking ownership of strategy and execution for core accounting automation.

As a key member of the team at Xero Australia in Melbourne, VIC, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Define product: Define product vision, quarterly roadmap, and OKRs for automated financial workflows.
• Translate qualitative: Translate qualitative customer interviews and quantitative product metrics into prioritized feature backlogs.
• Collaborate with: Collaborate with engineering leads and designers during discovery sprints to validate prototypes.
• Design and: Design and analyze A/B tests to measure impact on customer activation and feature adoption.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Xero Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Business, IT, or related discipline.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 5+ years of software product management experience, preferably within SaaS or fintech.
• Proven track record taking complex software capabilities from discovery through launch.
• Strong analytical acumen using product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, SQL).

At Xero Australia, we understand that our people drive our achievements. An outstanding remuneration and wellbeing package is provided in line with Australian benchmarks:

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$155,000 – AU$190,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Base salary of $155,000 – $190,000 + employee share scheme + superannuation.
