Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Design, build, and operate our workplace collaboration platforms and productivity tools.
- You'll work alongside a team of engineers and set the bar for code quality, testing, and security.
- Building integrations and automation for employee collaboration platforms, designing scalable APIs and services, reviewing pull requests, and simplifying complex workflows and processes.
- Additionally explore new technologies, AI capabilities, and vendor APIs, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of workplace innovation.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- Experience running complex engineering initiatives and shipping great products in an Agile environment.
- In-depth, expert-level hands-on experience with Java, caching, NoSQL databases, and cloud technologies (Google Cloud).
- Deep knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and integration patterns.
- Grasp of how to build scalable, maintainable, and performant orchestration across our platforms.
- On impact analysis and risk management for major design options, ensuring designs meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Working knowledge of containerisation, CI/CD, RESTful APIs, webhooks, and modern open-source tooling.
- Curious, forward-thinking approach with a genuine eagerness to use AI tools and engineering leverage to lift your own and the team's productivity.
- Ability to drive key architecture and design decisions across a platform, and communicate them clearly at all levels of the organisation.
