Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope

• In this senior process architecture role, you will help design the future state of the business and build reusable business architecture assets that support transformation across the organisation. You will work closely with business leaders, delivery teams and specialist partners to connect strategy with execution, providing clear insights, recommendations and architecture views that guide decision-making and change delivery.
• Architect, build, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency financial systems and cloud-native microservices.
• Drive technical design and development across critical banking platforms, trading execution systems, and data pipelines.
• Champion engineering best practices including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, quantitative analysts, and business stakeholders to translate financial workflows into scalable code.
• Ensure system resilience, security hardening, and operational observability across production distributed architectures.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, operating model design, transformation design or a related discipline within a large and complex organisation.
• Ability to translate complex or ambiguous business challenges into clear business designs, architecture outputs and practical recommendations.
• Experience developing business capability models, value chains, end-to-end process architecture and operating model views, with an understanding of data, risk, controls and technology.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and create clear, executive-ready materials.
• Experience using business architecture and process modelling tools, with knowledge of platforms such as Signavio, enterprise architecture repositories, data catalogues or risk and control tools being beneficial.
