Technical Domain: Hyperscale Cloud Architecture & Frontier AI Integration

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

In this capacity, your daily priorities and core technical contributions will center on the following key operational deliverables:

  • Customer AI and Security Strategy Leadership – Document and articulate the customer’s business objectives, technology landscape, and AI and Security strategy.
  • Technology Relevant Trusted Seller – Drive Microsoft Business growth including partner co-sell motions and governance around consumption and intent to use.
  • Technology Leadership across Solution Areas – Lead AI (including data and migration) and Security conversations across the rooms of the house showcasing how they align to the customers business priorities.
  • Industry Knowledge – Apply expertise in customer businesses, technology platforms, and industry to build AI strategy with the customer that is aligned to business outcomes. Challenge customers’ assumptions with constructive dialogue about their business and technology.
  • Influences technology virtual teams to use the right technical architecture for the customer, utilizing the best of Microsoft and partners to adopt our solution areas.
  • Contribute to the delivery of regular (e.g., quarterly, monthly) industry/technology briefings to customer technology stakeholders.
  • Use existing readiness resources to support the development of enablement plans for assigned customers to develop and expand their technical product capabilities and contribute to innovations to accelerate meeting goals for customer capacity while maximizing reach and impact.
  • Maintain rigorous code quality, comprehensive automated test coverage, and security compliance throughout all phases of software delivery.
  • Participate actively in technical design reviews, operational post-mortems, and architectural discussions across global engineering cohorts.

Candidate Profile & Experience Requirements

Candidates for the Senior Account Technology Strategist position are evaluated based on their practical experience, technical depth, and demonstrated track record of problem-solving:

  • Professional Background: Minimum of 4 years (48 months) of verified experience directly relevant to account technology or related technical specializations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 4+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience in relevant customer industry (e.g., Healthcare, Government, Education, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Retail)
  • 6+ years experience in digital transformation, or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.
  • Technical Competence: Demonstrated mastery of programming environments, distributed systems, modern cloud infrastructure, or specialized analytical methodologies relevant to the domain.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an established ability to articulate complex technical architectures clearly to engineering peers and executive stakeholders.
