The Risk Management Group provides an independent, objective oversight function that advises business units on managing credit, market, regulatory, and operational risks across global transactions. Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Lead and steer the global technology organisation supporting Equity and Derivatives Trading, with accountability for strategy, architecture, engineering, delivery and production support.
- Execute and drive partner directly with senior business and technology leaders to shape investment priorities, accelerate product innovation and deliver technology that supports business growth, client activity and new market opportunities.
- Lead and steer the modernisation of trading platforms, strengthen engineering and operational excellence, and ensure the resilience, performance and controls expected within a global front-office trading environment.
- Additionally drive the practical adoption of AI, automation and data-driven capabilities to improve engineering productivity, trading outcomes and client experiences.
- Build an inclusive, high-performing culture, develop future leaders and create an environment where teams can do their best work.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- Significant leadership experience in equities trading technology, including equity derivatives, electronic trading, synthetics or prime services.
- Deep knowledge of pre-trade analytics, pricing, execution, market connectivity, electronic trading platforms and real-time risk management systems.
- Experience leading large global technology organisations across engineering, architecture, delivery and production support within high-availability, market-facing environments.
- Success modernising complex technology platforms and delivering large-scale transformation while maintaining operational resilience and service continuity.
- Commercial judgement with experience partnering with business leaders and using technology, data and AI to support growth, innovation and better outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
