Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope

• Partner closely with traders, marketers, and business stakeholders to assess and manage credit risk across a diverse portfolio of fund counterparties and financial market transactions.
• Execute and drive be involved early in the transaction lifecycle, identifying key credit risks, conducting counterparty analysis, and providing timely recommendations on credit approvals, limits, and risk mitigation strategies.
• The role includes ongoing monitoring of counterparties and market developments, annual credit reviews, exposure management, and participation in client due diligence discussions.
• Additionally support the negotiation of legal agreements and recommend appropriate structural protections to ensure sound risk management.
• Through this work, you will gain exposure to a broad range of lending, trading, derivative, and investment activities across the firm's global business.
• Salary range for this position: $138,000 – $186,000/Year.
• Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
• You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in credit risk, banking, credit research, alternative lending, rating agencies, fund finance, or a related financial services environment.
• Experience analyzing private funds, hedge funds, regulated funds, and other institutional counterparties.
• Understanding of credit risk assessment, financial statement analysis, and counterparty due diligence.
• Knowledge of lending products, fund finance transactions, and credit exposure monitoring.
• Experience supporting derivative transactions, including familiarity with ISDA documentation and related legal agreements.
