Opportunity Overview & Quick Facts
Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Be a hands-on senior engineer working on an AI-first risk platform that supports investment management across listed and unlisted assets.
- Execute and drive develop high-quality software, solve complex technical challenges, and help shape the technical direction of the platform.
- Actively advance and support solution design, support colleagues, and take ownership of quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Our platform is built AI-first – we use Claude Code as a core part of the development workflow, not as a productivity add-on.
- Engineers collaborate with AI agents to design, implement, test, and review code at a pace and quality that would otherwise require a much larger team.
- As the platform grows into new domains, AI fluency will be a defining capability for the engineers on this team.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in software engineering, with strong expertise in Python and related tools, including FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and pytest.
- Software design skills, including domain modelling, API design, and applying practical design patterns to support maintainable systems.
- Experience delivering complex technology initiatives from start to finish in an agile environment while balancing scope, risk, quality, and timelines.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, and security-focused software design, with ownership of software quality and production support.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar, with an interest in using them to improve the way software is developed.
