Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Lead and steer a team of engineers while taking ownership of the design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of the products and platforms your team supports.
- Execute and drive work hands-on with code, guide technical decisions, mentor engineers and lead complex engineering initiatives across teams.
- Additionally help build a high-performing and inclusive team culture that supports quality, reliability and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- Technical background in software engineering, ideally with Java.
- Ability to lead complex engineering initiatives and work effectively in collaborative teams.
- Track record of engineering high-throughput, maintainable web applications within agile delivery frameworks.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent commercial engineering experience.
- Communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
