The Risk Management Group provides an independent, objective oversight function that advises business units on managing credit, market, regulatory, and operational risks across global transactions. In this role, the successful candidate will work alongside seasoned industry professionals to optimize mission-critical processes, manage risk effectively, and deliver commercially impactful solutions across key markets.
Opportunity Overview & Quick Facts
Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Support the oversight and assurance of third-party distribution partners, including brokers and aggregators, through data analysis, monitoring and risk-based investigations.
- Execute and drive conduct periodic assurance reviews, engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements, prepare management reporting, and maintain key policies, frameworks and procedures.
- Additionally, you will lead deep-dive reviews to identify improvement opportunities and drive the implementation of initiatives that strengthen risk management and operational effectiveness.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience working with Home and/or Business Lending Products.
- Risk and compliance mindset and a basic understanding of key regulatory and legislative requirements in the financial services industry.
- Communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into business terms.
- Problem-solving skills to create innovative solutions and recommendations to meet business needs.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and manage deadlines independently and a keen interest in operating with agile ways of working.
