The Risk Management Group provides an independent, objective oversight function that advises business units on managing credit, market, regulatory, and operational risks across global transactions. In this role, the successful candidate will work alongside seasoned industry professionals to optimize mission-critical processes, manage risk effectively, and deliver commercially impactful solutions across key markets.
Opportunity Overview & Quick Facts
Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Spearhead delivering high-quality audits that provide insight and assurance across the organization’s businesses.
- Working within the Internal Audit team, you will help assess the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control frameworks while contributing to audit planning, risk assessments and continuous business monitoring activities.
- Execute and drive build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, partner closely with business and technology audit teams, and provide valuable insights that support positive change and continuous improvement.
- As part of a global team spanning multiple regions, you will gain exposure to a broad range of business activities, emerging risks and regulatory developments while contributing to the ongoing evolution of the overarching risk management framework.
- While the firm offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require three days a week in our advertised location.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- Experience in internal audit, risk management or a related assurance role within a large financial services environment.
- Prior audit experience within asset management, particularly private markets, is preferred.
- Understanding of governance, risk management and internal control frameworks, with the ability to identify emerging risks and provide practical recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and build relationships at all levels of an organisation.
- Experience using data-driven approaches to assess risk, analyse information and support audit outcomes.
- Attention to detail, sound judgement and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
