The Risk Management Group provides an independent, objective oversight function that advises business units on managing credit, market, regulatory, and operational risks across global transactions. In this role, the successful candidate will work alongside seasoned industry professionals to optimize mission-critical processes, manage risk effectively, and deliver commercially impactful solutions across key markets.
Opportunity Overview & Quick Facts
Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Support Commodities and Global Markets in understanding and responding to regulatory developments, policy changes and emerging risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to money laundering reporting officers, Compliance, Operational Risk and global Financial Crime Risk teams, you will coordinate practical and proportionate solutions that strengthen controls and meet regulatory obligations.
- Execute and drive support governance forums, risk assessments, reporting and strategic programmes, while helping to manage actions arising from audits, regulatory reviews and remediation activities through to completion.
- By producing clear insights for senior stakeholders and identifying opportunities to simplify processes, you will contribute to continuous improvement across the advisory function.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- At least five years’ experience in financial crime risk, compliance, risk management, regulatory change or a related control function within a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, or broader financial crime risk requirements.
- Experience assessing and implementing regulatory, policy or governance changes, with the ability to support audits, assurance reviews or remediation programmes.
- Stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience preparing clear reporting, presentations and governance materials for senior stakeholders and committees.
- A practical and solutions-focused approach, with strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
