Macquarie Group is currently accepting applications for the role of Equity Research Associate Analyst, based out of their corporate offices in Jakarta, Indonesia. Opportunity Overview & Quick Facts
Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Focus on updating and maintaining financial models and industry databases, managing market analysis and client presentations and briefings.
- Additionally be writing, previewing and reviewing quarterly results, sector updates and thematic reports, and have the opportunity to generate new ideas, participate in coverage initiation on new companies, engage with senior stakeholders of the companies covered and help build our client base and revenue over time.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in a quantitative, economics, finance, computer science or similar discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Work or internship experience in equity research or investment analysis gained from a sell-side or buy-side environment.
- Numerical and modelling skills, well-versed in financial concepts with exceptional communication skills and fluency in English.
- Self-motivated with an analytical mindset and a passion in equity research and Indonesia's capital markets, with a drive to succeed and willingness to learn.
- Sector knowledge in FMCG and Retail is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
