Opportunity Overview & Quick Facts
Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Deliver high-impact strategic leadership across investment governance activities for the firm Wrap, helping shape and enhance the frameworks, policies, and processes that support the platform.
- Lead and steer complex investment reviews, oversee manager due diligence and investment research, and provide clear recommendations to senior decision-makers.
- Partner directly with executive stakeholders, governance forums, and the MIML Board, delivering insights on investment risks, opportunities, and governance outcomes.
- Additionally lead strategic change initiatives that strengthen governance practices, improve efficiency, and support the continued evolution of the platform.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in wealth management, investment platforms, superannuation, fiduciary governance, and Australian regulatory requirements.
- Experience in investment governance, investment research, manager due diligence, asset consulting, or multi-asset portfolio oversight.
- Ability to evaluate investment managers, products, and strategies across a range of asset classes and provide balanced, evidence-based recommendations.
- Capability to engage, influence, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including executive committees, boards, and governance forums.
- Tertiary qualification in finance, economics, commerce, actuarial studies, or law, with postgraduate qualifications such as CFA, CA, or CIMA highly regarded.
