Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope

• Lead and steer the engineering team responsible for our content platform, providing technical direction while remaining hands-on with design, code reviews and production support.
• Partner directly with Product and engineering teams across the organisation, helping shape the platform’s future while guiding the team through an active migration and modernisation programme.
• Additionally support and mentor engineers, drive platform reliability, and help define how the team plans and delivers its work.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

• Software engineering fundamentals, including clean design, code quality and the ability to work effectively with changing priorities and requirements.
• Experience in content management or content platform engineering; Adobe Experience Manager experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers, setting technical direction and taking ownership of platform reliability.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and competing priorities, with a proactive approach to identifying and driving solutions.
• Confidence working collaboratively with Product and other stakeholders, including discussing and resolving technical differences.
