Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Lead and steer the Platform Operations governance and controls capability, with a focus on strengthening quality assurance, operational controls and risk management frameworks.
- Partner directly with teams across the business to oversee regulatory and operational change, drive improvements to processes and controls, and provide clear reporting on control performance, emerging risks and remediation activities.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in governance, operational risk, controls, quality assurance, compliance, audit, financial crime operations or a related discipline within financial services.
- Experience designing, leading or improving governance and control frameworks in a complex regulated environment.
- Knowledge of control design, testing, monitoring, issue management, remediation governance and evidence standards.
- Experience supporting regulated operational processes, including KYC, AML, client onboarding or ongoing client due diligence activities.
- Ability to lead and develop teams, influence senior stakeholders and translate complex regulatory requirements into practical processes and controls.
