Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope

  • The firm Capital has an established healthcare advisory franchise in Europe with a strong focus on Healthcare Services (Core+), alongside other verticals including Pharma Services, MedTech and Healthtech.
  • Senior sector specialists serve clients across key European markets.
  • As infrastructure investors broaden their investment mandates, demand is increasing across sectors that exhibit infrastructure-like characteristics, including resilient cash flows, recurring revenues, defensive growth profiles and the provision of essential services.
  • At the firm, we refer to this as Core+.
  • Healthcare Services is a particularly attractive area within this Core+ theme.
  • Businesses such as diagnostic laboratories, radiology and imaging platforms, outsourced healthcare services providers and other essential healthcare operators are attracting increasing interest from infrastructure investors alongside traditional private equity sponsors and strategic buyers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to as well as broader sector coverage teams, you will develop senior client relationships, originate new opportunities and lead transactions from strategic positioning through execution.
  • Execute and drive advise private equity sponsors, infrastructure funds, corporate clients and management teams on mergers and acquisitions, strategic alternatives and broader advisory assignments.
  • Execute and drive help further develop the firm's market position across Healthcare by bringing together deep sector expertise and the firm's relationships across the infrastructure investor ecosystem.
  • Additionally have the opportunity to utilise the firm's ability to act as a principal investor, as well as its debt financing capabilities and strategic advisory expertise.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

  • Track record of originating, winning and leading M&A and strategic advisory mandates.
  • Deep Healthcare Services expertise, particularly across diagnostic laboratories, radiology and imaging, outsourced healthcare services, provider services and other essential healthcare services sectors.
  • Experience across other healthcare subsectors, including MedTech, Pharma Services and Healthtech, is desirable.
  • Relationships across corporate clients, private equity sponsors and investors active within healthcare services markets.
  • Ability to develop trusted senior-level client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Strategic advisory orientation, with M&A and advisory experience preferred over a predominantly capital markets-focused background.
  • Experience gained at a leading advisory firm or other relevant financial institution.
  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial approach combined with an ability to work effectively across healthcare, infrastructure and other teams and a motivation to develop and grow your own position in the market.
