Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, interpreting regulatory requirements and translating them into clear, practical guidance for the business.
  • Execute and drive support compliance, assess current processes, and provide insights through both forward-looking analysis and detailed reviews, engaging with senior leaders and external regulators where needed.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years’ of experience in financial services or investment banking following a relevant accounting qualification.
  • A degree in business or commerce with a professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA.
  • Expertise in interpreting regulatory reporting requirements and accounting standards, with sound professional judgement.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to explain complex requirements in a simple and practical way and form independent views in uncertain areas.
  • Experience interpreting regulation and reporting requirements, with exposure to registration processes considered beneficial.
