The Risk Management Group provides an independent, objective oversight function that advises business units on managing credit, market, regulatory, and operational risks across global transactions. In this role, the successful candidate will work alongside seasoned industry professionals to optimize mission-critical processes, manage risk effectively, and deliver commercially impactful solutions across key markets.
Opportunity Overview & Quick Facts
Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Execute and drive deliver the firm Group’s global prudential and internal reporting obligations.
- Spearhead identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise regulatory reporting processes, with a strong focus on enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Lead and steer complex projects responding to regulatory and business change and spearhead transformative initiatives to strengthen organisational capabilities.
- Execute and drive foster and maintain strong partnerships with the operating groups, both their Treasury teams as well as their data management teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of regulatory data and will work collaboratively with them to address issues and to ensure that the firm remains within risk appetite for data quality and manual adjustments for capital regulatory reporting.
- Deliver high-impact strategic guidance on compliance requirements, proactively identify potential issues or areas of concern, and act as a trusted advisor on the implications of regulatory changes for organisational strategy.
- Key responsibilities will include supporting communication with our Prudential regulator, reporting and updates to management including CFO, Board Audit Committee and Board Risk Committee and working with our auditors each year during key audit processes.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- Ability to lead and manage large global teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Track record in leading teams through the change associated with transformation projects.
- Influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across central and operating groups teams.
- Commercial acumen and results-oriented mindset to align regulatory reporting initiatives with organizational goals.
- Experience in regulatory reporting, data management, and compliance within financial services or other regulated sectors including understanding regulatory reporting systems.
- Ability to manage business process to ensure a high quality of regulatory reports, risk identification and management and change management processes.
- Ability to strategize and critically question data and platform requirements to support regulatory goals.
