The Risk Management Group provides an independent, objective oversight function that advises business units on managing credit, market, regulatory, and operational risks across global transactions. In this role, the successful candidate will work alongside seasoned industry professionals to optimize mission-critical processes, manage risk effectively, and deliver commercially impactful solutions across key markets.
Opportunity Overview & Quick Facts
Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Be involved in a range of tasks including compliance monitoring, managing information barriers, reviewing institutional research, policy review, regulatory and legal change management, and participating in global control room projects and initiatives.
- Execute and drive have frequent interaction with business stakeholders and work collaboratively with colleagues in Compliance and other risk functions.
- This role offers a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, providing you with the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of compliance matters.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' of direct experience in Compliance or the Control Room within investment banking.
- Compliance or regulatory background with an interest in the management of information and conflicts within an institutional banking environment.
- Understanding of investment banking and global markets products.
- Analytical capability and attention to detail.
- Resilience and a "can do" attitude, especially under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to work collaboratively with colleagues and business stakeholders across regions and functions.
