The Risk Management Group provides an independent, objective oversight function that advises business units on managing credit, market, regulatory, and operational risks across global transactions. In this role, the successful candidate will work alongside seasoned industry professionals to optimize mission-critical processes, manage risk effectively, and deliver commercially impactful solutions across key markets.
Opportunity Overview & Quick Facts
Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- Deliver high-impact operational and non-financial risk advice across the firm Capital’s Advisory, Equity Capital Management, Debt Capital Markets, Technology Capital, Innovative Equity Ventures and investment activities in Asia Pacific.
- Execute and drive work with senior stakeholders to identify and manage risks, support business change and investment initiatives, and help strengthen risk awareness and accountability across the region.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- 10 years’ of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, risk advisory or a related risk discipline.
- Understanding of non-financial risk frameworks, control design, assurance, incident management and issue management.
- Experience providing practical risk advice and influencing senior stakeholders in a complex financial services environment.
- Ability to identify, assess and address risks, control gaps and operational incidents through sustainable solutions.
- Judgement with the ability to balance commercial priorities within a risk management framework and work independently across a broad business environment.
- Prior risk experience within an investment bank or similar will be highly regarded.
