Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope

• Design and deliver end-to-end technology solutions for eDiscovery and surveillance teams within the Risk Management Group.
• Partner directly with business and engineering stakeholders to shape solution architecture, validate design decisions and guide delivery.
• Additionally help define technology strategy, roadmaps and data architecture patterns that support enterprise-wide objectives.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

• 5+ years’ of experience owning end-to-end solution architecture, from strategy and roadmap development through to design, implementation and delivery.
• Ability to translate business goals and regulatory requirements into practical technology solutions, architecture designs and delivery roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of architecture principles, standards, governance and best practices, with experience defining and applying them across teams.
• Ability to balance long-term architectural direction with short-term delivery priorities, making pragmatic decisions that support both business outcomes and technical sustainability.
• Extensive hands-on engineering experience, ideally as a Lead or Principal Engineer, with the ability to contribute to technical design, lead proofs of concept and pilots, and support delivery.
• Sound knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and experience designing secure, scalable and resilient solutions using integration patterns such as APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Experience designing integration architectures using APIs, event-driven patterns and distributed systems approaches.
• Expertise in conducting rigorous technology and vendor evaluations, including technical, security, operational, and commercial due diligence.
• Experience designing AI-enabled solutions, including agentic AI and multi-agent systems, within established risk frameworks would be highly regarded.
• Experience operating in regulated environments, with a good understanding of risk, compliance, governance and security requirements.
• Understanding of regulatory obligations and control frameworks, ideally within financial services or similarly regulated industries, would be highly regarded.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence architecture decisions and gain alignment across technical, business, and executive audiences.
