Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope

  • Undertaking Trade, Electronic Communications and Voice surveillance to assist the Global Surveillance team with the day-to-day review and analysis of firm activity, including relevant trades (firm, client and employee), electronic and voice communications to identify patterns and behaviours indicating market abuse and misconduct.
  • Additionally be required to manage the daily/weekly volume of alerts and escalate matters of interest and follow up issues to a successful conclusion.
  • In addition, you will work with local and Global Surveillance teams to improve the quality of alerts generated and remove "false positive" findings.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

  • A degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar.
  • Experience in a compliance or regulatory role with a focus on detection and review of potential risks, especially market abuse and manipulation, is an advantage.
  • Analytical and investigative mindset.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex verbal information.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with seasoned stakeholder presentation skills.
