In this role, the successful candidate will work alongside seasoned industry professionals to optimize mission-critical processes, manage risk effectively, and deliver commercially impactful solutions across key markets.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
- You'll take a lead position in assessing market risk‑taking behavior through detailed portfolio and transaction analysis, thoughtful risk‑limit calibration, and proactive stress testing around major market events.
- Acting as a trusted risk partner, you’ll analyze emerging market developments, challenge risk activities where needed, and ensure that critical issues reach senior management quickly and clearly.
- The role also involves driving enhancements to risk measures, overseeing adherence to established limits, and supporting new product approvals while working closely with traders and business leaders.
- Based onsite in New York four days a week, the position keeps you closely connected to senior management and trading teams, enabling real‑time collaboration and impact.
- Salary range for this position: $181,000 – $225,000/Year.
- Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, equivalent or above in Finance, Economics or a related quantitative/analytical discipline preferred.
- Understanding of financial products (including derivatives/greeks) is required.
- Fluency in SQL and Python would be a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with people from different departments and levels of seniority.
- Experience in energy markets (particularly natural gas & power).
- 5+ years’ experience in the industry/a relevant role.
