Role Summary

Forward Deployed Engineers work directly embedded with strategic Google Cloud customers, rapidly prototyping, engineering, and deploying custom GenAI applications powered by the Gemini model family.

Key Responsibilities

• Build production-grade GenAI prototypes, agents, and RAG pipelines integrated into enterprise customer stacks.
• Optimize prompt engineering, context window usage, and structured function calling with Gemini APIs.
• Identify technical blockers and feed customer requirements back to Google product engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
• Practical expertise building applications with LLMs, vector search, and modern API frameworks.

Remuneration

• $190,000 – $235,000 AUD base + equity + bonus + 11.5% Superannuation.
