As a key member of the team at Immutable in Remote – Australia, All Australia, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Conduct mixed-methods: Conduct mixed-methods research to uncover candidate and customer pain points, driving product strategy and roadmaps.
• Champion modern: Champion modern testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery across distributed squads.
• Collaborate asynchronously: Collaborate asynchronously with product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders using Slack, Jira, and Loom.
• Optimize latency,: Optimize latency, reliability, and security of production services deployed across public cloud environments.
• Mentor teammates: Mentor teammates and contribute to architectural RFCs and engineering standards.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Immutable, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-5 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Demonstrated professional experience in UX Research and Qualitative Analysis.
• Proven track record delivering reliable software in modern cloud or distributed environments.
• Strong written communication skills and comfort with asynchronous, documentation-first workflows.
• Relevant tertiary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Valid Australian work rights (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Full Work Visa).

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$145,000 – AU$175,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive Australian salary package ($145,000 – $175,000 AUD) + 11.5% superannuation.
