Goodstart Early Learning is recruiting an experienced Centre Director to lead our vibrant 90-place early learning service in Randwick. You will champion the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), mentor early childhood educators, maintain ‘Exceeding’ NQS rating standards, and manage operational centre occupancy.

As a key member of the team at Goodstart Early Learning in Sydney, NSW, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead pedagogical: Lead pedagogical practice and inclusive play-based curriculum design adhering to EYLF V2.0.
• Ensure strict: Ensure strict compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Foster strong,: Foster strong, compassionate relationships with families, managing enrolments and community outreach.
• Oversee centre: Oversee centre financial budgets, Child Care Subsidy (CCS) processing, and staff rostering.
• Coach and: Coach and mentor room leaders, diploma educators, and certificate apprentices.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Goodstart Early Learning, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education & Current NESA / VIT Teaching Registration.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).
• Current Teacher Accreditation with NESA (NSW) and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Centre Director with proven NQS assessment results.
• Current HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certification.

At Goodstart Early Learning, we understand that our people drive our achievements. An outstanding remuneration and wellbeing package is provided in line with Australian benchmarks:

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$105,000 – AU$125,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive salary package $105,000 – $125,000 + 11.5% super + performance bonus.
• Up to 50% discount on childcare fees across Goodstart centres.
• Comprehensive not-for-profit salary packaging benefits increasing net take-home pay.
