Fortinet is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer in Adelaide to provide technical pre-sales and architecture for enterprise FortiGate firewalls.

Fortinet Australia is recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer in Adelaide. You will serve as the technical authority for Fortinet’s Security Fabric, designing high-throughput FortiGate firewall clusters, ZTNA, and secure SD-WAN architectures for South Australian enterprise and defense clients.

As a key member of the team at Fortinet Australia in Adelaide, SA, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Deliver technical: Deliver technical presentations, solution architecture designs, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
• Architect large-scale: Architect large-scale FortiGate firewall deployments and centralized FortiManager configurations.
• Provide technical: Provide technical enablement and workshops to Fortinet channel partners and resellers.
• Represent Fortinet: Represent Fortinet at Australian cybersecurity conferences and industry executive roundtables.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Fortinet Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Fortinet NSE 7 or NSE 8 Certified.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 5+ years technical pre-sales or engineering experience in network cybersecurity.
• Active Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE 7 or NSE 8) certification.
• Deep understanding of firewall threat prevention, SSL inspection, and network protocols.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$150,000 – AU$185,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive salary $150,000 – $185,000 + performance bonus commission + super.
