Google Cloud is appointing a Customer Solutions Engineer in Pyrmont to guide enterprise clients on modernizing infrastructure using GKE and Anthos.

Google Cloud Australia is recruiting a Customer Solutions Engineer to join our Sydney team. You will work closely with enterprise customer engineering teams, providing technical thought leadership on migrating virtualized environments to Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and managing multi-cloud hybrid deployments.

As a key member of the team at Google Cloud Australia in Sydney, NSW, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Guide enterprise: Guide enterprise customers through proof-of-concept deployments on Google Cloud Platform.
• Architect cloud-native: Architect cloud-native infrastructure utilizing Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Cloud Run.
• Author technical: Author technical migration blueprints and infrastructure as code templates using Terraform.
• Collaborate with: Collaborate with Google Product Management to advocate for customer feature requirements.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Google Cloud Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 5+ years experience in technical sales engineering, solutions architecture, or cloud consulting.
• Active Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Strong software engineering and scripting background (Python, Go, or Bash).

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$185,000 – AU$240,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
