Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg is delighted to offer an exciting career advancement opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse. Our inpatient Surgical Ward is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to step into a Clinical Nurse Level 2 role within our team. We offer excellent flexibility, with opportunities ranging from Permanent Part-Time 0.8FTE through to Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Providing individual care for patients who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing adverse cardiac events.
• Delivering high-quality clinical nursing services and associated programs to meet the evolving needs of our patients.
• Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care.
• Demonstrating advanced clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care.
• Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision, along with staffing within budget requirements.
• Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Experience working as a nurse on either a medical or surgical ward.
• Post Graduate certificate is desirable not essential.
• Available to work across all shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster.

Skills & Competencies

• Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate patient care and competency in clinical problem solving.
• Demonstrated competency in written and verbal communications and the ability to maintain accurate clinical and assessment data.
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater Values.
