Job Overview & Context
Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service is seeking dedicated professionals for various mental health nursing and clinician roles within the Bundaberg community, including specialized services such as Perinatal Mental Health, Child and Youth Mental Health, and Older Persons Mental Health. These positions focus on delivering expert clinical and patient-centred care within community mental health departments.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide expert clinical and patient-centred care within specialized mental health service departments.
- Deliver clinical services and case management support to clients and stakeholders.
- Support the facilitation and provision of quality, cost-effective nursing services consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team care plans and monitor patient progress.
- Coordinate clinical practice and resources to meet patient needs across the region.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or relevant health practitioner registration.
- Demonstrated experience in a mental health or community healthcare setting.
- Compassionate approach with a strong commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical assessment and case management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
